Our Story
This is a small family business where everyone has a medical career background and over the past 30 years of our lives, we want to do something different. My family and I kept brainstorming on things that would be a great foundation to start our own business! From the state that I am from it is always gloomy and rainy with a little bit of sunshine during the summer, what is a better way to make it more toasty and warm coming home from a long day of work or wanting the house to smell magnificent? It is to burn a candle!! However, it is not just going to be a regular candle though… It will be scented with all different type of ingredients along with adding some love to it!
Lucy’s Candles was started with the intention of simply making candles for my family to enjoy. My family has always been obsessed with candles and the rich aromas that give our homes a personal touch. Whether it be my sister’s love for fruity uplifting scents or my nephew’s more subtle earthy tones each home gives a quick glance as to who they are as people. That is why I wanted to share the joy and magic a candle can bring a home with you. Take a look at our 100% homemade candles crafted from eco-friendly soy wax that you are sure to fall in love with.
Our Story
Our founders comes from a family with a background in the medical field spanning three generations and 30 years that include the recent pandemic. After having spent what is a lifetime in healthcare they decided that a change was necessary and what was a love for candles quickly became a potential business venture. Our home state is known for being notoriously gloomy and plagued by rain most of the year with an occasionally intense summer. What better way to liven up the home during the cold and wet seasons than with a warm candle?"
